El Aneto, with an altitude of 3,404 m, is the highest peak in the entire Pyrenean mountain range. It is located in the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park, in the Benasque Valley, Huesca province. It is currently the largest glacier in the Pyrenees with a surface area of 90 hectares and a maximum thickness of 50 metres.
